Mt. Snæfell is one of Iceland´s highest mountains and infact the highest mountain outside the mighty Vatnajökull glacier. The mountain is by no means technical and the views on a clear day are breathtaking.
The tour starts in Egilsstaðir and pickups are in the Egilsstaðir area and in Laugarfell. The hike starts close to Snæfellsskáli hut following  paths at first but snow/glacier closer to the top.
In the right conditions clients can slide down the snowy fields of the mountain making the decent much easier. Dipping into the natural warm pools in Laugarfell after the hike is a must. The tour ends in Egilsstaðir or at your accommodation.
