Into the wild hike is up this beautiful valley and on our hike many waterfalls are to be seen, the valley leads us into the wilderness of East Iceland. 
We drive from Egilsstaðir along the lake Lagarfljót (Monster Lake) through Hallormsstaður forest. Before the hike we stop at the Wilderness Center in Fljótsdalur valley just next to the hiking trail. We follow a marked trail up the valley wich leads us to our destination. Enjoy the magical landscape and waterfalls on our way. The hike ends in Laugarfell  where we can relax in the natural warm pools. They say the water in the nature pools has healing power. On our way back we drive to Egilsstaðir, where the trip ends.
