On this evening tour, we visit a special waterfall close to Egilsstaðir. The cave behind it was believed to be habitated by a huge troll...
This place is also a great viewpoint over Egilsstaðir area and if we´re lucky we might see the northern lights.
The tour starts at the local campsite (see map below) and from there it´s just a few minutes drive to the trailhead.
The hike to the waterfall takes about 30 minutes and hopefully the trolls are away so we can visit the cave...
If weather and conditions allow we will hike back to Egilsstaðir where we started the tour.
All participants get a head torch and spikes if it´s slippery.
